24/08 Tue
Went for the csc thingy.
Cleaning one of the elderly's house.
To tell the truth, it was actually quite gruesome, I've never ever EVER seen a house like that.
The owner have a lil mental problem and he burns his stuffs in the house.
Hence, there's quite a lot of burn marks and black patches here and there.
Everything laid messy around the house.
Strewn black clothes and black stuffs here and there.
The toilet was EWWW.
However, one ggod thing about the house is that there's practically no junk objects there.
Since, the owner had already burnt most of his stuffs at home.
Oh well, luckily I was mentally prepared before going into the house.
It was a one room flat at bedok area.
So we started cleaning!!
It was tiring, my fingers hurt from scraping the floor.
But in all, it was a great experience.
I always used to watch 心情大动员 and thought about how it's like to clean elderly's house.
And now I've tried it, Iam glad.
It was definitely satisfying, even though I didn't really do a lot.
The whole house was as clean as new after that.
I slept for the whole bus trip to and fro.
I like long bus trips and I like taking bus 87 now.
I hr ride from sengkang to bedok.
SHIOK AH!

So I spent the whole day today doing cross stitch.
AWESOME!
ME LIKEY!

I've already lost track of time, date, day.
And school's starting soon again!! :(

Iam a lazy bum. XD

Finally finished watching 'Remeber Me' yesterday.
At first I watched it because RPattz is in it.
But after that I find that the show is really meaningful. (to me)
And there's somehow a little link to the 911 incident.
It showed me how someone's life can end so abruptly, so sudden.
When everything is going fine and when their family is starting to be whole, he died.
Why did he have to die?!? WHY?!? :'(
-Teary eyes when watching that scene- :/

Boring day at home watching dvds.
The bonus features of that twillight dvd took me so freaking damn long to finish watching.

Iam not really in favour with korean trot song.
But their voices are pretty amazing and it's actually quite addictive. ^^

Okeh so Iam here to update.
Let's see.
Hmmm quite alot happened.
Iam just gonna summarize the events. I think.

-Aug 9
National day, went for the alumni retreat.
十字路口, some food game.
Practically went around S'pore to eat and eat and eat.
Was so full when I get home.
Nothing much.

-Aug 10 to 14
Rushing all my work like crazy.
Ok not really like crazy.
But it was crazy since Imma last minute person.
Geez.
I sort of screwed up my presentation. :(
Was feeling kinda :( cause the lecturer said I shouldn't look and read from the board.
And eveyone else's board and presentation were all so good.
Sheesh, I regretted procrastinating.
My journal is half-done and my presentation shucks. :(
Oh well, I shouldn't be upset over spilled milk.
But still, :(((
After all submissions was over, I kept sleeping and sleeping.
It was sooo SHIOK!
OH YAY! :D

-Aug 14
Helped out at ncps.
Did nothing much actually.
After that met up PeiWen.
We were supposed to watch street dance at marina, but there are no seats left and hence we abandoned the idea.
Walked around, ate and we went esplanade! :D
Borrowed 5 dvds back!
Imma happy kid. :D
After that we went to the outdoor theatre outside to watch bboy-ing performances and battles!
It was AWESOME!
Especially one of the grp, they are dope!
But in the middle of the battle, I was dozing off. :P
But when that grp appeared, I was awake.
With my mouth like :OOO. O.o
After that ate dinner with peiwen and her family.
Was a little pai seh.
Her family was pretty entertaining and funny. :)
Went home after that.
There's some amazing arts stuffs along the underpass from city link(?) to esplanade.
It's about cyber things. Facebook and all.
There's also hip hop performance/battle at the esplanade on the 15th.
But the event was too late, so we didn't plan to go and see.

-Aug 15
Hmmm did I practically sleep and laze around at home the whole day?
I think I did. :P
Oh ya I did went out to compass in the morning to meet up with the committee for UE.
It seems like I've got quite a lot to take care of as a committee member.
Hmmm I don't know if I can fully commit and do the things Iam supposed to do as a comittee member...

-Aug 16
Went for a run in the morning.
I didn't even run for more tham 10 minutes and I felt like dying.
Zzz
Where did all my stamina go?
Haiz.

Farewell dinner at night to send shiyi off.
Met up with Peiwen first and we went to walk around from dhoby ghaut to orchard.
Met up with the alumni members and we ate at 鼎泰峰.
The dim sum there was quite good!
Om nom nom nom -satisfied stomach-
After the dinner, a few of us went to TCC to have a seat and talk.
Tried the peppermint tea there and it was mhmmmmmm. <-- lol I don't know what that's supposed to mean.
It just taste like tea with peppermint (lol) and tea doesn't taste so good right.
But I didn't know that tea have such great effects on a full stomach.
At first my stomach was so full that I can hardly stand straight.
But after drinking the tea, my stomach feels sooo much better.
Likeawoah!
I didn't regret joining the alumni because the people there are just awesome!
They are so easy and fun to get along with!
It doesn't matter what is their age, I can just trust them and talk to them easily. :D

And so my mom doesn't allow me to go for the newyork trip next year.
Shucks. :(
She says that it's too expensive. :(
It's kinda frustrating that tp doesn't really subsidise our overseas trip.
PeiWen gets to go to korea and I think np will subsidise quite a lot of their fees. :(
Her family is quite rich anyway, oh well, she will get to go no matter how much her trip is.

Sometimes I think that it's quite hard to be close friends with poly classmates.
That might be due to the fact that we don't see each other a lot, as compared to friends we used to see in sec sch.
Like from morning till afternoon/evening.
And we don't actually go through a lot together.
Seriously, I've never thought of hanging out or going out with my poly friends during the holidays.
Never thought about it.
I've only thought and planned to hang out with my sec sch friends.
I don't know why.
Some says that it's quite hard to find a true friend to you during your poly days.

And last but not least.
I seriously want to change my cca.
Like seriously seriously.
But I don't know what to change to.
Iam contemplating.
I really hate the training environment that they had.
But when I see them train, I somehow hoped that I can be part of it.
But I also hate in when this cca/sport have no indoor training area.
We will still have to train when it's raining and all muddy.
I don't like that.
But I want to join a sport cca to exercise and having the 'We are a team feeling.'
But this cca doesn't give me that. :(
CONTRADICTING.

I once said I wanna open a pet shop someday.
But after watching 前线追中 yesterday, I feel that this idea is wrong and selfish.
A lot of dogs/animals are being abandoned and abused.
And if I truely cared for them, I shouldn't be increasing the demand by selling them.
Right?
Okay maybe some people who buy dogs truely love animals.
But since there's already sooo many pet shops in Singapore, I shouldn't be opening a pet shop next time to increase the danger of more dogs being abandoned.
Right?
So yeah, this idea of mine had been diminished.
If I really wanna work/be in a place with animals/dogs, I might as well open an animal shelter.
It will definitely be better that having a pet shop.
